Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu has actively taken part in the MARD (Men Against Rape and Discrimination) campaign which has been initiated by Bollywood actor-director Farhan Akhtar. Recently Mahesh was especially thanked by Farhan for his extensive support to the noble cause.
Farhan thanked Mahesh Babu through his Twitter handle, "Here's a picture of Mahesh Babu in support of MARD. Thank you Mahesh, for being a catalyst of Change. MARD Poem in Mahesh Babu's voice to be uploaded soon... The initiative is aimed at spreading awareness about gender inequality and rape through social media. Mahesh Babu also lent his voice to a poem in Telugu and the song along with the video will also be posted online soon.
